Ryad Salama is an authentic and well-kept riad in the heart of Fes. The courtyard is beautifully designed, with an adequate pool and pets (turtles). The breakfast is very rich and varied. Unfortunately, the dinner could not be chosen but was available as a set menu, though it was also good. The rooms are clean; even if they seem a bit old-fashioned or worn, they are still well-maintained. The staff is friendly, albeit a bit reserved, and you often have to look for someone if you have a request or want to order something. All in all, a very good place for a stay in Fes and for visiting the medina. We received numerous helpful tips and information upon our arrival that helped us a great deal.

We very much enjoyed our stay, in particular the peaceful courtyard, refreshing pool, clean & quiet room, nice breakfast and good dinner. The location was also very convenient. Many thanks to Iolande for the hospitality and all the useful advice, thank you also to Mohamed, Younos and the rest of the staff! We were very happy and would love to return, Fes is a unique and interesting place to visit.
