Golden Tulip Farah Khouribga

It's a small town, nothing touristic, so I was grateful I could find a place to stay. It's definitely not even 3 stars, and not well maintained, my shower was cold, but it was clean, the food was good. It's OK for a short business trip.

The dinner as well as the breakfast were excellent: something which cannot be said about the general condition of the hotel, where the furniture literally falls apart and which seems not to have been renovated since I stayed there approximately 1975 when it was operated under the brand name NOVOTEL. Nevertheless the hotel is acceptable fro a stay of only one night, but I would not like to stay for a longer period. It is unclear why the Golden Tulip chain ( the present operator) allows its brand name to be attached to this kind of operation.

I checked in and the reception was fast and effective. The room is clean, with soap, plugs and hot water. The wifi and aircon are working. Front of house and restaurant staff are friendly and efficient. There was some noise from the disco and aircon hum, and the restaurant was a little bleak. However my breakfast was good and there was plenty to eat and drink. Yes it is a little drab in places, with the outside needing repairs but I've no issues with inside.
