Ibis Moussafir Essaouira

Essaouira is a windy location, on golf course or on sea wind can be bring you in amazing situation. Nice hotel, food is correct. New and Very clean. Free parking. Quiet location. Members are helpfull. wifi in reception onl

We spend 3 nights, me, my daughter and fiance. Nice rooms, normal "ibis" breakfast. Good service, and nice beds.This hotel was a Ibis but somehow changed the name to Moussafir. The pool was ok, and we had really great time there all three.I put a four "very good" because the time i was there was special for me, but if i will be objective about the hotel, it is a "Ibis" class with a little extra. Very nice people who work there.

The outside of the building is stunning. Very Essaouira. And the pool area is beautiful (although the pool is rather small for the size of hotel). The inside is rather sterile and standard and the corridor to the rooms is very long. My room was lovely though it didn't feel like I was in Africa at all. Shower was great although my sink drained very slowly. The food for the set evening meal was interesting. I think it tried to be refined and posh but feel short in its randomness. Whole fish with cold rice. Hard spaghetti with cheese. Drinks were pricey too.
