I am extremely disappointed with this stay, especially since we have been customers for several years and have already come to this establishment several times, notably for its location which we appreciate a lot.
Upon our arrival, we discovered that major construction work was underway, with noise almost continuously. At no time, during our reservation made directly by email, were we informed of this work. The manager indicates to us that this is mentioned on the website, but we did not book via the site, since we are regular customers and we made contact directly with the establishment. It would therefore have been normal and professional to warn us before our arrival.
Added to this are several other disappointments: an extremely cold pool, a general level of cleanliness that really leaves something to be desired, and above all a particularly shocking state in the spa area. The massage room was very dirty, notably with a dirty towel left on the floor, and dirt on the floor as well as on the furniture. For an establishment of this standing, and more particularly in a space dedicated to well-being and treatments, this is hardly acceptable.
What also disappoints me enormously is the total absence of any real commercial gesture in the face of all these inconveniences. After we expressed our dissatisfaction, the manager simply offered us... a coffee as compensation. Considering the price of the stay, the unreported construction work, the noise we endured, the lack of cleanliness, and the services that are clearly not at the expected level, this proposal seemed almost inappropriate to us.
We have come several times over the years and it is precisely for this reason that the disappointment is even greater today. Unfortunately, we have the feeling that the establishment is deteriorating from stay to stay, even though we had continued to trust it until now.
It is truly regrettable, because we really appreciate the location and we would have liked to keep coming back, but the quality of the services and the consideration given to loyal customers unfortunately no longer seem to be there.
