Les Terrasses D'essaouira

Well located but excessively expensive. Facilities with little maintenance. The bed must have been comfortable 20 years ago, not so much now. They gave me a room on the third floor, many stairs, which was not ventilated, a superior double that did not deserve it at all. It was very hot and without windows to the outside. I didn't even have a fan. I requested a room change, but they didn't want to give me another room; I had to insist a lot. Yunes was very kind, and the breakfast staff was great, but I can't say the same about the French manager. Not very friendly, lacking empathy, and not generous at all, especially considering he is a yoga teacher. He wanted to charge me double for the round-trip transfer to the airport and was not understanding at all. He didn't show up when I asked to exchange part of the payment in Dirhams that I had left over. However, he was more than willing to charge in euros. Lack of seriousness and little humanity. Many nice details in the decoration, but the essentials are not covered. They provide little information or important suggestions to enjoy the stay in Essaouira and during the festival. Not very satisfied, especially since I was really looking forward to having a good time.

Good location, room not as booked given double room paid for triple room apparently no longer available not informed !!! Room smelt musty bed linen smelt pillows were velvet cushion covers ! Shower poor power and cold . Terrace sticky furnishing . Staff cleaning stauns of duvets with sponge !!! Male - staff rude agressive and unhelpful . Please think again don't book here so much better accommodations available . We left as disgusting 🤢
