Riad Al Madina

Ho dato il minimo dei voti non per l'hotel ma per il servizio. Mi sono sparite le airpods e dopo due giorni (ero in altra località) li ho contattati per dire che le vedevo attraverso il find my airpods in hotel; ho chiesto di dire al personale di consegnarle alla ahall e sarei passato a ritirarle. Nessuna risposta, dopo tre giorni le stesse airpods erano (e sono tutt'ora ) in una via di Essaouira. Ho scritto nuovamente chiedendo di spedirmi le mie cuffie ma nessuna risposta è arrivata. Il principio è che se un dipendente trova (sempre che non mi siano state rubate, non lo so) delle cuffie deve consegnarle alla hall, a maggior ragione se le ho specificatamente richieste! Disonesto! I gave the lowest possible rating not because of the hotel itself, but because of the service. My AirPods went missing, and two days later—while I was in a different location—I contacted the hotel because I could see via "Find My AirPods" that they were still on the premises; I asked them to have the staff hand them over to the front desk so I could pick them up. I received no reply, and three days later, those same AirPods were (and still are) showing up at a location on a street in Essaouira. I wrote again asking them to ship my headphones to me, but I never got an answer. The point is, if an employee finds a pair of headphones (assuming they weren't actually stolen—I don't know for sure), they should turn them in to the front desk—especially after I had specifically asked about them! Dishonest!

The hotel was nothing like the pictures. It is very run-down compared to the pictures which make it look very bright and modern. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and, again, looked nothing like the pictures. The rooms were also infested with moths. We had cleaners letting themselves into our rooms whilst we were showering and undressed despite us putting a “do not disturb” sign on the door. The cleaners were very confrontational when we told them not to come into our rooms and they were sitting outside the room looking through the window despite us specifically requesting that they didn’t do this. The hotel staff at the desk were fairly helpful in guiding us around the city and with booking activities. I would not come back to this hotel again.

We spent the last 2 nights of our holiday at this beautiful Riad but were disgusted that guests were smoking inside at breakfast on both mornings. Shame as really liked the location, building and room.
