Riad Inna

The location of this Riad was fantastic. Right in the middle of the old town. And the staff was superb. They were able to help with my every request. I asked for a fan. They didn’t have one, but sent someone to a shop outside of town to get me one. and the breakfast ladies were also lovely.

Very promising in the photos, location is great. Unfortunately, it is extremely damp in the building. The rooms smell musty and everything is clammy. The equipment, especially in the bathroom, is scant. Too few towels that are worn, partly torn and dirty. With few exceptions, the staff are unfriendly. The ladies at the (mediocre) breakfast seem listless and bored. At checkout it was not possible to pay by card. Then the lady at the reception got involved and wanted to charge 11% fee on the amount! It was only after renewed discussion that this was enacted. The absolute exception to this experience is the brand new, on-site restaurant MIFAN. Extremely good Moroccan-modern cuisine and super nice staff. Be sure to try it out!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in this riad! The location was perfect, in the heart of the medina, which allowed us to discover Essaouira easily on foot. The riad itself is a true haven of peace, with beautiful traditional decoration and comfort. The team was so welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more special. We loved the surf classes, as well as yoga, and the roof terrace was perfect for relaxing with friends. An unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend this riad for a stay with friends!
