Riad Sidi Magdoul

Stay of 3 nights. Hotel very well located. Reasonable price of €30 per night. Very nice interior. Just a slight downside regarding the bathroom of the Indigo room where the hot water was not consistent and the shower was a bit clogged, but for the price, it remains very reasonable. At the reception, one receptionist is very friendly, while the other is a bit less so. Night watchman allowing key handover in the middle of the night for flight departures.

ATTENTION SCAM about this establishment which has at least three pages on the net, with the same address and photos: * The first page named (Riad sidi magdoul) which is closed to booking had (415 reviews) and rates were 34 euros per night for a double room (See attached photo). * The second page is (hotel sidi magdoul) with only (02 reviews) and price of € 335 for 7 nights or € 46 per night for double room (see photos evidence). * The third most fraudulent page that is (riad sidi magdoul room) with (05 reviews) and that is published with the same photos and address as the other pages (see photos). This last page whose price of the double room is inflated and it is well indicated on the photo..!! (3267 euros excluding taxes for 7 nights and for a double room on the terrace for 2 pers. or 466 €€€ per night,!!!????? It is pure scam and will to steal tourists and future customers..!!! Please see the comparison of the two pages on the photos presented whose period is the same but the difference and deviation of this cheating operation is quite obvious especially since it concerns the same double room underlined on the photo and the description also concerns the same room,!!! After contacting Booking.com to request verification of this address regarding (room sidi magdoul) at the total price of 3267 euros / 07 nights for 2 people in a double room tax free from today 04 May until 11/05 ( that is 466 euros per night,!!!). I received a reply stating that this is a duplicate of a single property and they warned me that they will not be responsible for any refund possible regarding this property in case of a booking...!! something I don’t intend to do especially after this scam discovery. The platform will certainly take action and activate the on-the-spot control procedure for this riad and this fraudulent page that is now being reported. The 5 reviews posted on this sidi magdoul room page with a rating of 10/10 for each review are all from one account. This personal account of course is that of the owners who keep making different reservations for a period of one night (see photo >>> room sidi magdoul) and then make false reviews leaving comments of 10/10. The real problem is not the score of 10 but the lack of credibility and the will to falsify prices regarding the same room to deceive tourists and make unfair gains on their backs...!!! It is up to you to see today's photos and calculate the difference for the same period (excluding taxes): 3267 € for 7 nights (room sidi magdoul) - 335 € for 7 nights (hotel sidi magdoul) ========== + 2932 € is the sum of flight expected when booking ,!!???? Why then offer the price of 466 € for a shabby room for 2 people instead of putting a reasonable and logical price,!? The tourism delegation in town was also warned this morning and they will certainly make an inspection visit to this place. Be careful therefore to future customers, reviews are usually written by the owners of this riad themselves and this attempt at camouflage precisely for the purpose of scamming tourists and exploitation of foreigners. Total distrust to those who think to book in this dishonest establishment that has put pages at different prices on the net as bait customers who do not know and who will certainly run the risk of losing their money that will certainly not be refunded. My previous opinion was to denounce the abusive and dishonest pricing practices and the cheating and unprofessional way in which the owner of this riad markets his rooms, exactly through THREE different PAGES of a single platform (Booking.com) whose price of the same double room is blindly displayed: 34 € on the page (riad sidi magdoul) 46 € on the page (hotel sidi magdoul) And 500 EUROS on the page (chambre sidi magdoul)..see my previous opinion for more details. My previous opinion certainly hurt the owner who did not admit and acknowledge his mistakes and his operation of scamming and cheating towards tourists especially with photos- evidence that I provided and which all come from his own pages on the platform and which prove his approach of scamming. Rest assured Mr, the owner, all photos provided have nothing to do with AI and any customer can access this platform and see this cheating... UNLESS you decide to delete this bad reputation page permanently from this platform,!!  This page unfortunately reflects your bad faith and your disloyal and negationist attitude to deceive future customers and conceal the truth in order to get more money on their backs. This refusal to admit the facts and not to accept the evidence pushed this owner to create a false alternative reality that reveals a psychological disorder characterized by a compulsive and pathological tendency to lie, fabulousness and reinvention of reality, which I will explain to you. I have noticed throughout the past days that this owner wrote 4 different Replies modified one after the other with different dates (see photos-screen) on his own Google page.,!!   So don’t come and say again that it is AI. I will therefore prove to you with evidence that this owner& manager of this riad does not stop these lies so blatant, contradicted by an obvious reality that they become impossible for any lucid person to swallow. On the other hand, he lies and he strongly believes in his own lies!!  Sir, you are going a long way in your unfounded accusations and without any real evidence by further amending your answer text today for the 4th successive times; * Summary of your answer n°1 dated May 5 (see photo screen 6 days ago); You have confirmed that I have never stayed with you at the riad and that I judged you without seeing you and without knowing you,!!   Here are the first three lines from your own text that destroy your mythomaniac accusations: I report this excerpt from your reply of 5 May as it is (see attached photo): >>> "Dear Mr. you insulted us d scam you judge us [without seeing us without knowing us since you have never stayed with us.]"... Then, to defend yourself...!!  You cited private and non-public information about an administration...!!  Did you know that disclosing names or secrets means revealing private, protected and confidential information... So you don’t have to analyze the photos of answers 2,3 and 4 since technically you are toast and stuck practically by your own writings that are completely contradictory. How is it possible that you confirm in your own answer of May 5th before modification right at the beginning that I never stayed in your riad then announced you towards the last paragraph that you will just need time to prepare your lies and your video rigging and other inconsistent accusations,!! Did you know that just the first answer of May 5 condemns you and put you in the corner with your defamation in fact and lies.  All this constitutes a criminal offence in front of the courts that I will soon initiate when I return to Morocco with the authorities. We must not forget that the law protects against these false and unfounded accusations. You made up facts and you made accusations based on lies and you even have a trick regarding a recorded video that I do not need to see until the court whose justice will say its word based on REAL EVIDENCE,!! I challenge you in court if you have a recording or video, photos of me in person in your own establishment as proof of charge..knowing that each registered guest at the reception will provide (last name, first name, address, passport number..personal information) so don't forget to create a compliant identity to file a complaint..otherwise you will risk more trouble to mention "unknown customer" in your alleged complaint. My lawyer will be waiting for a report from me, for a real official complaint and confrontation in court so you have the right to bring your false evidence and the material you have. I would therefore be prepared to prove your false accusation by your own writings and it will be easy to demonstrate by expertise that one or more videos are fabricated, faked and false, which constitutes an offence of denouncing your falsification of facts and fraudulent distortion of the truth on any medium (written, digital). Apart from the record of your cheating regarding your abusive prices and your persistent willingness to steal and take full advantage of future customers, now another case of falsification of facts is added to your account... It will teach you to think several times before making such blatant lies. For future guests who may have been looking for a room in this riad, I let you delicately see the photos-evidence to judge the dishonesty and lies of this mythomaniac owner in these modified answers... so you will have a concrete idea of what awaits you in the case of a probable booking. I’m sure that after this second review on Tripadvisor, many future guests will change their view of things regarding this riad and its owner...it’s really possible that there is a real risk of receiving real accusations after staying in this riad...100% WARNING ⚠️

This Riad is a gem for anyone traveling alone. It’s stylishly puristic and located in the best part of town, but still surprisingly quiet. Highlights: • Atmosphere: Waking up to the smell of incense in the patio was magical. • Hosts: The French owners and the receptionist are super friendly and speak great English. • Facilities: Great rooftop terrace, varied breakfast, and good coffee. • Service: Very attentive staff; laundry service available for a few Euros and fresh towels anytime. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a calm, clean, and friendly base to explore the city! Ce riad au style épuré est une perle. Idéalement situé mais très calme, c’est un refuge parfait. J'ai adoré l'odeur d'encens le matin dans le patio et la superbe terrasse. Le petit-déjeuner est varié avec du bon café. Le service est top : linge frais à la demande et machine à laver pour quelques euros. Un grand merci aux hôtes français et à la réceptionniste pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur anglais impeccable. Propre, sûr et très accueillant !
