Couldn't fault the comfort, beauty and chilled atmosphere of the riad. It was a much needed oasis.
All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much bother (e.g. a bottle of lotion had exploded in my bag and the team were able to get my clothes laundered, dried and ironed or a very reasonable fee, within a few hours.

This was my first visit to Marrakesh. My 18 year old daughter and myself spent 4 days staying in here.
I would describe the actual Riad as charming in its simplicity. It was quite cool with us and rained one day so the communal area's where a little cold to sit and breakfast on the roof terrace wasn't an option.... the breakfasts were perfect with fruit, pancakes, pastries, yoghurts, tea, coffee and not forgetting the legendary freshly squeezed orange juice!
When we arrived Mohammad greeted us with mint tea and spent time giving us a quick orientation brief along with a hand drawn printed map which was hugely helpful. He also gave us a quick lesson on how to barter in the souks and to 'walk with confidence'! We didn't get lost and our confident walk clearly held us in good stead!
We stayed in the twin room which was away from the main courtyard so we had a little more privacy. The beds were comfy and nice thick duvets with blankets as the temperature dropped at night.
All in all our stay was perfect - one slight minor point is that outside the Riad it smelt a little bit of sewage which did occasionally come into our bathroom. I appreciate that there is nothing to be done about this but there was often quite a bit of rubbish in the alley up to the Riad door which consisted of split bags - it would have been nice if this had been cleared on a more regular basis.
A must is the restaurant Le Slimana, it is literally 2 minute walk away and was amazing! Highly recommend.

I stayed at Riad Dar Aman for a few days and my experience was rather mixed. The location is interesting, close to the main attractions, and the setting of the riad is pleasant, with a beautiful traditional decoration.
However, I was disappointed with several points. The service was correct but without more, sometimes lacking responsiveness and attention. The room was clean, but the soundproofing left something to be desired, which made the nights sometimes noisy. Breakfast included was quite basic, without much variety. And the shower was clogged.
Overall, it was not a bad experience, and good value for money.
