Top Riad, clean, nice breakfast and nice staff. Lovely location in the medina with everything within walking distance.

We had a great time at Riad Barocco. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt extremely welcome. All employees are sweet, caring and have a warm heart. Their hospitality makes the atmosphere in the riad extra special. The rooms are beautifully decorated, with air conditioning and heating, and are excellently cleaned daily. The spacious roof terrace is also a wonderful place to relax after a day in the city. The location is perfect: right in the old medina, making almost everything within walking distance. A small minus is that the breakfast could have a bit more variety, but that does not take away from the fact that we fully enjoyed our stay. Tip for future visitors: alcohol is not easy to find everywhere in the medina. Many guests ask, so here is a handy tip: on the advice of Idriss we went to Carrefour, where you can buy wine and other drinks. Useful to know for those who like to drink a glass. We also definitely recommend booking excursions. We did this via GetYourGuide and we liked it very much. In short: Riad Barocco is a warm, welcoming place with a top team, nice rooms and a fantastic location. We love to come back!

Wonderfully quiet riad very well located in the Medina of Marrakesh. All hotspots within walking distance and with 10 minutes you are walking to the Djeema El Fna square. Just far enough away to come 'home' peacefully if you have just experienced the bustle of Marrakesh. Very friendly staff, Idriss makes you feel at ease and at home. In the morning a good breakfast is put down for you with a cup of coffee or tea. If you are looking for a quiet, not too big, cozy and well located riad then this is definitely recommended. The rooms are clean and equipped with the comforts you need for a stay in Marrakech.
