Riad Mariana

We spent a very beautiful weekend at Riad Marianna. The riad is magnificent, with a lot of charm, and the room was really top-notch: comfortable, pleasant, and very quiet. The welcome is warm upon arrival and the staff is really attentive. Special mention for abdou the breakfast, which was excellent and very hearty! The location is also perfect: the riad is located less than a 10-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square, while allowing you to enjoy a quiet place after a day in Marrakech. A very beautiful experience that I recommend without hesitation. We will return with great pleasure! 🌸❤️

We booked 10 days at this riad. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to its promises. The riad was joined by two very noisy, disrespectful, and unpleasant families. Openly lacking respect for the two people taking care of us, doors constantly slamming, the children even opened our bedroom door. The owners came to ask them to be respectful, but nothing changed. This event disrupted part of our stay. I am aware that it is an establishment where there are many people; nevertheless, we cannot tolerate this kind of constant aggression. Many of us suffered this week. It would have been simpler to refund these people and ask them to leave given the nuisances. But financial profitability was clearly the priority. The owner explained to us that there were many scams and to be very careful; in fact, I chose to trust her and buy the argan oil from them. I paid €50 for the bottle. A few days later, I found the same bottle in a shop, sold for €12. I asked to be refunded but I am very disappointed by this attitude which confirms that there is no limit to the love of money. We did not have a good vacation in this riad. However, thanks to Abdou and Amina, their kindness, we manage to put things into perspective. They are the positive side of the riad; without them, the riad will soon empty out. You are hoteliers and profitability is necessary for your profession, I am aware of that, but you must remain honest despite everything. These 10 days represented our savings from a year of work like everyone else; for my part, you were not fair. And the money you are trying to recover in the wrong way will be missed one day if you do not question your practices.

We had a very happy experience with our 4 day stay at the Riad Mariana. Mohammed and Amina went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had an enjoyable stay. The Riad is very clean and comfortable. It is also just a very short walk to the souks for shopping and the Jemma el Fnaa Square for dinner and entertainment. We would stay here again, and highly recommend it to fellow travelers!
