Very warm and pleasant Welcoming, very clean and quiet riad The meals are delicious from breakfast to dinner we all feasted! The terrace is very nice to rest after a good day of sightseeing and the rooms are very nice also

Marrakech in the heart! I searched a long time before finding the riad NOOR CHARANA and I really don’t regret it! Perfectly located in the heart of the medina, the riad is soothing, clean and secure! Price quality ratio is excellent. The riad offers a quality breakfast. Mr Abdelatif, our host has been very discreet, he is humble and always present to offer his help.

In August 2025 my boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights (out of 5 booked) in this Riad. Then due to malaise related to sanitary conditions and to protect our health we had to book another structure for the last two nights. We go up to the room, the room is very small without a piece of furniture to put things and suitcases, it has only a rack with hangers. We take a shower, and after less than 5 minutes the shower tray fills up and the next morning we find it still full of water. Moreover, since there is no window or ventilation system in the bathroom, the heat is infernal and the air is unbreathable being August. Once back on the second night the situation is alarming to say the least. We find a cockroach on the wall, an invasion of ants on the floor taking away a dead cockroach and the shower tray still clogged. Almost the next day we ask to change rooms. We move to the afternoon of the Third party day in the new room and go out for dinner. Returning after dinner we find a cockroach on the carpet and two running on our things. So we call the staff of the Riad and this as the only solution takes us to a third room where we spend the last night. In the last room being one in the morning we put ourselves in bed to try to rest but as soon as we lift the covers we see a dozen cockroaches running all over the bed and one even stung my boyfriend’s hand. She had an itchy, uncomfortable reaction for days. Also in this room the air conditioning does not work and so we spend the night with 43’ C dehydrating completely and on the verge of fainting. The next day we call Booking for assistance. Booking tries to contact the manager of the Riad (not physically present there) both by email and by phone but does not respond and still has not responded to Booking. Exhausted we book at our expense another structure and seeing us leave the staff only apologizes without giving us the least assistance as for the rest of the stay. The manager of the Riad in all this has not bothered to contact us and provide us with any help and assistance, his disinterest is truly shameful! We were not refunded the tourist tax money for nights not taken and did not provide any other form of refund. To date, no one has contacted us. Not least, in returning the rest of the payment of the tourist tax we were given 50 dirhams less that the staff pocketed; all without receipt or written summary of what was paid and declared. If you don't want to lose health, absolutely avoid this structure! A facility in such condition should not be allowed to accommodate people at all!
