Riad Slitine

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Slitine and would happily return. The riad itself is beautiful, with spacious, well-appointed air-con rooms that were comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The pool area is especially lovely—a peaceful oasis to relax in after a day exploring Marrakech. The whole place has a calm, laid-back atmosphere that makes it very easy to unwind. The staff were wonderful throughout our stay: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The owners were equally welcoming, kind, and genuinely interested in making sure guests had a great experience. We particularly appreciated being allowed a late check-out on our final day. With two children under 10 and a late-night flight home, it made a huge difference and turned what could have been a stressful last day into a very relaxed one. It was a small act of generosity that meant a lot to us. Overall, a beautiful riad with excellent rooms, a lovely pool, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended.

You will first have to meander through the narrow streets of the sook, noisy, hectic, littered with all kinds of goods stacked to excess in all the tiny shops that line up endlessly, make your way among the many tourists of all nationalities, the thundering and petaradous mopeds, the curioles pushed by arms or pulled by donkeys and loaded with various items. And then you will hesitate to enter this dark veneer, but it’s okay, you’re in the right direction. Another detour left, then right. There is no one left. You're coming to a dead end. In front of you two doors. A little sign reassures you. Riad Slitine. You ring and wait. The door opens. A smiling man welcomes you. He's reassuring, and you are. A long dark corridor and there you emerge on the patio, flooded with zenith light on a green tile pool. Some banana trees, palm trees and orange trees, the view is superb. It’s quiet, relaxing. Bird roaming adds to the magic. Just extraordinary. The contrast with the street is striking. A woman immediately comes to offer you tea. She is beautiful dressed in her black sarouel with a gilded headdress. Moroccan hospitality is not a legend. Only downside, the bedding is very firm. Case of taste.

Perfect experience here. The Riad is so stunningly beautiful. A large pool, terrific breakfast, rooms are clean and well decorated, the staff is so kind and friendly. I cannot say enough good things. I love this place!
