Ryad Mogador Menzah

We booked a hotel over a riad as i have children who I thought may be bored in a riad. On arrival concierge were amazing and so friendly. Reception area was beautiful and staff quickly got us checked in. The room was a great size with good air conditioning. However, once you leave reception the rest of the hotel is very tired , dirty and run down. The room wasn't cleaned properly with dirty floors but beds were clean though not the most comfortable. Kitchen had NOTHING , no cups, plates, cutlery. Just a fridge so cooking was out of the question. Only had one side of wardrobe to store clothes for 4 people as the other side was jammed shut. Was just generally very tired through the apartment with chipped tiles and paint work. Wall tiles on the floor in shower made it VERY dangerous. We had to put hand towels down to stand on in shower. No storage in bathroom at all . It says maid service but she didn't come until 5 days in of a 7 day stay so we had 3 towels between 4 of us all week despite asking multiple times. Sheets weren't chanhed and beds werent made . We had the same sheets for 5 days . Bins weren't emptied and apartment certainly wasn't cleaned . Outside the pool is ok. I will say this is NOT a European Hotel at all. Though it didn't bother me it may some. It is primarily an Arab hotel and finding space round the pool is terrible with hige families reserving 5/6 sunbeds at 7.30 am to use later in the day. The pool area itself was again, tired and cracked tiles everywhere. The "restaurant" was ok. Very small for size if hotel tho I noticed them refurbing a bigger restaurant. Breakfast average. We ate the same thing every day for 7 days as no variety. No cereals or fruit. Just pastries and semolina...sometimes egg and bread. Food through the day was basic. Pizzas, wraps and salads which seems the norm everywhere in marrakech if u want a quick bite. Overall ot was ok. Its good for a "base" . It's close to menara mall for food court, shopping etc, souks around 10 minutes in taxi and carre Eden and nicer area around 20 minute walk...5/10 min in taxi away. If you just need somewhere to lay your head and not too bothered about pool and rooms it's fine but i wouldn't recommend with families . I will also add the apartments next door seem to be privately owned and the children who live there play outside from around 11pm until 2/3am screaming and shouting. The windows arent sound proof so closing them didnt help. You just had to try sleep through it. The concierge gentleman was amazing and so kind . Called me sister all week and sorted me taxis etc and greeted me around the hotel with kindess and affection. He was amazing. Over all not a horrendous experience but not the best. I sadly wouldn't return

I booked 3 apartments at the Mogador Menzah for the last week of April 2026. I was really scared because of all the negative reviews I read online. I was pregnant and I travelled with my 86 years old grandmother and was really afraid of the higiene and comfort. All 3 apartments were really clean, beds were really comfortable. My apartment had been painted recently and I asked to change as I didn't want to smell the paint for long periods of time. They arranged me a different one for the next night. The staff was really friendly and accommodated all our needs asked during this week. The swimming pool area was also very pleasant. Honestly, it's difficult to believe the price considering how everything was so positive. When I return to marraquesh, I will divinely return to this hotel.

Good reviews are definitely bots. There is nothing acceptable about this hotel. The rooms, bathrooms, "kitchen," cleanliness and "breakfast" just awful... You have something good...if your card doesn't work to get in, just push the door and you're done! You enter the room without having to bother going down to the reception... anyway...
