Riad Idrissi

Beautiful riad, furnished with taste and finesse. Welcoming Abdel and his family is very nice. We're comfortable at home. The two terraces are splendid.

We had booked and yet we were refused access because we are an unmarried couple. “You should have asked me, I would have told you, the authorities are not kidding with that.” We cross Morocco and have never encountered this problem. Usually establishments specify it on their website! In 2025 in a tourist town like Meknes we were somewhat surprised. Suffice it to say that we would not have reserved, we can understand the rules when they are specified. Thank you for not offering anything to help us we left with our suitcases after a few minutes.

The riad is very characteristic, indeed is situated inside Meknes Medina. The owner is very polite and his wife make a special breakfast included in the tax and if you want she could make also a traditional dinner. The house has and old style but is very clean and has an amazing terrace were we saw the sunrise and sunset. we had a real Moroccan experience there, we felt like part of their family ! Absolutely recommend
