Riad La Maison D'a Cote

Riad La Maison d'à Côté in Meknes is a friendly place to stay. The rooms are comfy, and the Moroccan style adds a nice touch. The staff is super nice, making sure you have a great time. It's in a good spot to explore Meknes easily. Overall, a fantastic choice for a comfy and authentic stay in Morocco.

This riad is inhabited by a family with 2 children. It is decorated in a mix of Scandinavian and Moroccan style. There are 2 double rooms on the ground floor with direct access to the courtyard. One of them can be extended to include 1 double room on the 1st floor so that a family can sleep there. The standard of the accommodation is rather basic. No TV, no air conditioning and no refrigerator. The location is excellent. Difficult to find the very first time.

Wonderful riad and friendly staff! The riad caretaker picked us up himself from the el hedim square and guided us to the riad. After arriving, he served us some mint tea while processing our check in and was also flexible and helpful with any questions during our stay. Our room had a private bathroom (toilet and shower) and both a heater and AC in the room. A sufficient breakfast in the morning was also included and we had dinner once against an extra cost, which was delicious and authentic morrocan food. We had the upper (cheaper/smaller) room, which was totally enough for 2 people. The location is in the middle of the medina and close to many Meknes sights. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend it!
