perfect for a getaway specially after a tiring week. Nice hostel, spacious and clean room, people here are welcoming, the breakfast is tasty. the ambiance in the bivoacs is breathtaking, especially with the sunset and the starry nights.

Nice and clean rooms with individual bathrooms. The setting is beautiful and the rooms are nicely decorated, with wooden ceilings. Lot o see and do in the area. Food is very good and staff friendly and profesional.

After a tough road trip and having camped Berber-style at the foot of the dunes of Ergh Chebbi for a week, we arrived at this oasis called 'Kasbah Chez Michel' where we were welcomed heartily by the lovely lady of the house - who could teach you some on self-reliance by the way :). At Auberge Derkaoua you feel a bit like being in a lovely fairytale. A very charming & peaceful place: cozy shaded corners where you can have tea, winding pathways so every room has a bit of privacy, surrounded by vegetation, a clean and big swimming pool, hearty food in a cozy setting. Although somewhat modest the room felt spacious and inviting. Great overall experience • Good value for money • Definitely recommended! Unfortunately we only booked one night, which we regretted immediately after arriving there.
