Dar el Khamlia

Seldom we had such an authentic and warm welcome. Abrahim, Addi and their family were most kind. The house is basic, but enough comfort. The food was excellent in quality and quantity. We enjoyed a cameltrip, saw the unique sunset and made a adventurous 4x4 trip in the desert. A very nice way to experience the way the people live at the edge of the dessert. We family with 4 children -16, 15, 13 and 11)- strongly recommend!

After a morning tour around the desert, we stopped for lunch and it was so good! A lot of food - Morcooco salad, bread, chicken tagine and sweet tea. Brahim was such a nice and friendly man. The dar was also nice and clean. Felt very relaxed here. A good recommendation if someone is looking for a lunch option in Merzouga

The experience in Dar el khamlia was more than just lunch. The welcome of the host, his care and confidentiality to offer us some refreshment as well as food before leaving for the desert were something that will remain inside me and made me feel at home. All carefully prepared and the Berber pizza was superb!!! Thanks to Youssen for bringing us here😍!
