ksar ighnda

This is a rather interesting Riad. I did like the structure (a maze of staircases and terraces and vistas and patios) and the beautiful appointed garden and pool. Food was ok and service impeccable as usual. The room was generous and impeccable appointed although a bit dark frankly, the bathroom large and I loved the walking shower and the best bits…toiletries that you can actually read what they are without a magnifying glass!!!

We stayed here one night with our tour group and were very pleased with the experience. Our room was in the newest section of the hotel in the front. The room was very large with a good size bathroom and many modern amenities that we appreciated after a number of nights in older riads on our tour. Sure it wasn't as charming but it was nice to stay somewhere where everything functioned well. Our room also had a balcony with a view of the mountains. The grounds were lovely but it wasn't warm enough to use the pool. The buffets for dinner and breakfast had good choices. Recommended!

Beautiful palatial complex with a total of 80 rooms (some in separate villas), a large courtyard with pool, sun loungers and dining tables, about 3 km from the centre of Aït Ben Haddou. Our family suites were not quite as beautiful as in the pictures of the website. One had an open shower. In front of the room on the first floor a large terrace, which one shares with other guests. Nice service at lunch and dinner. Typical Moroccan cuisine. Small spa, not included in the price.
