Riad Maia

Great riad, decorated with style and attention for every detail! Might be hard to find but with instructions received beforehand we found it ourselves. Two lovely gentlemen running the place, served great breakfast, arranged a calechetour with Rachid, a great citizen of Taroudant... They even gave me a little birthdaypresent, so sweet! Also Henry showed us the souk and the former synagoge. We felt totally at home and would definitely return to this little gem!

Riad Maia is a small, beautifully decorated, efficiently designed and well run hotel in a quiet corner of the medina. The owner, Henri and his gorgeous assistant Mina, are friendly, helpful and hospitable. Henri can supply all sorts of useful information about the town and surrounding countryside and is happy to arrange outings if his guests want them. He arranged a pleasant drive for us round the ancient town walls, advised us about the next leg of our journey and was helpful and sympathetic when we lost the keys to our hire car. Thanks Henri!

We had a really nice and enjoyable short stay in Riad Maïa, nested in a small backstreet at the heart of Taroudant. Quite well located, we perfectly got there thanks to the help and instruction of our host and were warmly welcomed by Mina who is absolutely lovely. We had a delicious breakfast in the beautiful verdant and peaceful patio. I strongly recommend it!
