To access the camp, you must first reach the office of the manager in Zagora, almost in the center of the city, on a narrow street. It is quite easy to find. It’s not really an office, but we are well received. We negotiate for the meal and for a tent with shower and toilet (which is offered to us). The person in charge gives us a rallying point and we agree on a time to meet. Finally, having lost the rallying point, we will join the camp with another official. The camp is located about 20 km from the city, which is then visible at the bottom. It is indeed a bivouac with several tents. Ours is large and well appointed. Note that there is wifi. The environment is indeed that of small dunes, in an otherwise fairly flat landscape made essentially of sand and a little pebbles. These are not the dunes of Merzouga; we are not at all in a comparable environment, but there are indeed sand and dunes, albeit small. The team proposes to take a camel ride. Before dinner, we gather to get to know each other. The dinner that takes place in a large tent gathering all the people accommodated, is satisfying. We get to know each other a little better with our bivouac companions, of various nationalities. You eat your food for dinner. All those present will gather for a moment around a fire with some songs. This animation seems to depend above all on the wishes of those present. We'll sleep very well. In this universe, there is not much noise, if there are other nearby camps but far enough away. The breakfast is also satisfying. We're armed for departure! We will have had a good time, but one night seems sufficient in such a place.

What a beautiful experience!! We were warmly received, given delicious meals (the best of our trip), enjoyed the peace and quiet and also the excursion organized by Bivouac Karim is highly recommended to discover the local Morocco. The friendly Ahmed took us on a varied program: visiting traditional cities, spotting animals, cooling off in the swimming pool of the beautiful Riad Amnir, camel ride...The guides and guides are rightly proud of their rich culture.

We keep an excellent memory of this excursion in the huge Chegaga desert. Thanks to Ahmed for his kindness, humor, all his information. Great driver! Warm welcome to camp , joyful evening and delicious dinner . We also remember the magnificent spectacle of sunset at the top of the dunes. Everything was perfect. Thank you again to all
