Kasbah Oulad Othmane

We only stayed one night, but it was magical. Sleeping in this historic place is a privilege. When you arrive, the view is striking and the small alleys leading to the entrance are already disorienting. Certainly, you have to climb to get there and the comfort of the rooms is basic, but you feel good there. The dining rooms are very comfortable and the welcome is very warm. The terraces offer a splendid view of the palm grove and the little extra, highly appreciated after the desert, is the pool. A place full of history and good energy, I highly recommend it!

Lovely place for a short stay. Located on the route N9. Authentic over 200 year old kasbah on the edge of the oasis. Hospitality a 10/10! Really good food.

We visited Kasbah Oulad Othmane as a stop on our way back from Zagora. The kasbah itself is really beautiful and atmospheric, and in perfect condition — probably the best one among those we visited. We were greeted by Malika, who was an excellent guide and told us about the kasbah, showed us the communal areas and a beautiful vacant bedroom, which we really liked and regretted not having booked to stay there. We had a tea on the peaceful rooftop terrace, in the shade with a magnificent view of the palm oasis and neighbouring kasbahs. We liked the place it so much that we decided to stay for lunch, having a chicken lemon tagine, which was wonderful. Thank you, Malika!
