A superb riad with a magnificent rooftop, truly excellent cuisine, and very reasonable prices. Special mention to the girls at the front desk, Aya Mou Nil and Aya Benslimane, always smiling, available, and very kind. A perfect stay from start to finish. An address to recommend!!

The "magical" rooftop restaurant is how this is described on the board outside. I'm not sure about magical but the rooftop certainly has good views and a good feel about it. Service was attentive and the Tagine and seafood pasta were both well cooked and tasty. No alcoholic drinks but you can get non-alcoholic wine if you want it.

Honestly this review frustrates me to write. The hotel is fabulous in so many ways, except for the noise at night. For a hotel that states on booking.com that there are quiet hours between 9pm and 11am, and only has 10 rooms, it is incredibly noisy until midnight. This is not outside street noise that can be expected in a medina. We have stayed in 3 others on our trip. The noise is all cleared inside the riad. Noise comes from patrons of the restaurant on the top floor traipsing down the stairs, past our door. People talking in the library on the other side of the wall to our room. Staff playing music in the lobby (and strumming a guitar as well tonight) that travels straight up the internal courtyard to rooms. Staff removing rubbish from the restaurant when it closes. This is not a quiet hotel and for this reason, if you are in any way, someone who wants to sleep before midnight, don't book here. We did complain after last night, we were assured it was a one-off. It wasn't. We have two more nights of this to go I imagine. If we hadn't prepaid I would pack tomorrow and leave. This issue does such a disservice to the riad itself. It is lovely. It is in a great location and has an amazing hammam. The rooms are comfortable (but clearly not noise insulated in any way), well appointed, (though you get a kettle, but no tea, a coffee pod machine, but only 2 pods for your stay - we asked today and were told they are only given for your first night. This is a $400 a night hotel!). The AC works to heat and cool. The bed is comfortable. I just don't understand why they ruin all this, by not caring about the noise! If they want to be a noisy hotel, that's their prerogative, but don't advertise quiet hours that are not enforced or respected!
