TANJAH FLANDRIA

Our tour group used this city center hotel for meeting in Tangier. It was located in the city center and we were able to walk to everything but I would call it an old and tired property.

Upon arriving in the room, we found it very noisy despite being located on the 5th floor; we then tested 2 others but with the same result! So, to be avoided. We did not sleep a wink all night between the honking, the sirens, and the passersby coming out of the bars… Tiny room and very insufficient breakfast, cafeteria-style. It is evident that this is a hotel special for groups.

I stayed one night at Flandria to start off a weeklong tour of Morrocco. It's a very modern style hotel and is centrally located so lots of places to walk nearby. The room was fine though it didn't appear to have been updated in a while; the hallways and elevator lobbies were dimly lit with colored lights, apparently going for a clubby vibe. There is a rooftop pool, though being late October it was deserted for my stay. There is a bar on the lower floors which is a nice amenity for western tourists; the bartender was very friendly. Overall it was fine for an overnight in the city center, though not overly memorable.
