Palm Beach Resort

The room was great. It’d be better if the lights are brighter than they are now. Not having much choices for the breakfast for local like us but the pool was clean and the staff are friendly. The whole compound has great spot to take pictures. Overall, it is a great place.

The entrance looks delapitated but inside is relaxing.lobby has large library all the building of wood. Good size rooms great pool right on beach. Expansive beach of miles. Walked one afternoon for 15 minutes and only saw my shadow. Next day some locals on motorcycle..but fewer than years ago. Friendly courteous staff and clean rooms. Nice escape place right on the beach. Funny abandoned tennis court

The Palm Beach Hotel is a wonderful small hotel on Ngwe Saung Beach. I felt very well taken care of by the friendly staff. The rooms are tasteful and comfortable. Please remember that Myanmar is a developing country and there may be some inconveniences, such as no electricity during part of the day. This in no way detracts from the elegance and comfort of this hotel. The food at the poolside restaurant, which overlooks the Bay of Bengal, is truly wonderful. It is a great spot any time of the day but especially after dark for a romantic dinner.
