This a place in need of a major infusion of funds. Otherwise, the owner is happy providing a shabby everything for a low rate. The water is iften brown. The pool is rented out to local swim coaches so kids and.peeing and noise and ear infection. The beakfast mediocre. The weight room is sad. On the hand, its Myanmar so the undetpaid staff is friendly, helpful attentive. The morning wait staff are great. Housekeeping wonderful. SO, if you dont mind substandard toilets, old dingy carpets, peeling paint and hideosly old furnings, this discount next to the Hilton, is tolerable. Too bad, the mgmt/owner could care less about the barely 2 star rating it truly deserves

I had spent 2 nights (29th-30th Dec and 31st Dec-1st Jan 2019) for New Year 2019 with my family and friends family. Actually, I booked the hotel due to the location with reasonable price. Room are big and location is best for New Year Countdown in Mandalay. But before you book this hotel, you need to accept the following: 1. The hotel is a bit old without proper renovation. 2. Shower tap are not working properly (may be some rooms might have worked) 3. The water heater heater is not working (During December onwards, the temperature in Mandalay is around 15-20 degree celcius) 4. Breakfast is just the mediocre. (you can go to the nearest restaurant to have breakfast, you can go to GENERATION just across the road or Shwe Pyi Moe just around the corner of Hilton which is just beside of this Hotel. 5. If you get the room in the ground floor close to the kitchen, you will hear shouting of staffs in that kitchen or cleaners in early morning. These are the experiences i got during my stay. So if you can accept these facts, you should choose this hotel due to very good location.

Tired, dirty and dank. Desk staff is rude and unhelpful. Rooms are dirty with foul smelling carpeting. Our company paid, thank goodness. We refused to stay a second night. Don't spend even one night here.
