Amazing Ngapali Resort

Amazing Ngapali Resort was one of the first hotels which opened for vacation during Covid 19. We flew from Yangon. It is understandable that during these difficult times and having just openend there was room for improvment in service and cleanliness. The rooms are spacious, with beautiful furniture and nice bathrooms. The views are amazing and so is the beach. Particularly if you have children. The breakfast buffet was good, the drinks are very tasty and the barkeeper is very nice. The management made great efforts. The snack menu for lunch could be more varied and the dinner menu was not competitive with the seafood restaurants in the area. Also in terms of value for money. Overall we recommend the hotel.

Amazing Hotel was the first hotel we tried on Ngapali Beach in December 2018 and after trying several other hotels on Ngapali beach we returned to Amazing in March 2020 to spend again a few days there. We experienced again the hospitality of the local people working in the hotel, got a present as returning guests and received special attention from the lovely Cho Me in the restaurant who recognized us, who is always giving her best and stands out! We enjoyed great food, enjoyed the clear sea water for swimming (the best place to swim - no any rocks in front of and around the Amazing hotel!) and the stunning view in front of the bungalows and the restaurant. If you go for a long walk on the beach you will also reach some rocks and a big rock with a mini decorative pagoda on top of it. And if you search for a place with a great variety for breakfast - Amazing is the place to go! You get there just everything, both Asian and Continental with so many options including not only "standard" breakfast but also fresh Pancakes and free flow of fresh Coconut water (to name very few). Dinner at Amazing is great with a gorgeous view - the tables are at the pool, facing directly the sea. And if you want it even more special, you can get a table down on the beach, set only for you. Everyone in the hotel is very nice and the service is great, Cho Me being the best! The only one recommendation would be to "refresh" the bungalows (comparing to some other hotels with bungalows on Ngapali beach, which renovate), so that Amazing can offer even a better experience!

We would highly recommend this resort. We stayed in a sea view suite for 8 days at the beginning of February. These small cottages are located on the beach. The service and the food were outstanding. Special thanks to Cho Me who spoiled us during our meals.
