Inle Inn Pindaya

The property is near the lake with beautiful gardens. The staff are friendly, helpful and service-orineted. The rooms made out of bamboo and eco-friendly and very clean. Food is also great and abundant breakfast.

We came over from another hotel for a massage- 4stars- and a comfortable place to relax with a drink before dinner. The bar area is beautiful, with local paper lights and wood: we had the surprise to taste very nice Myanmar wine. Service is excellent too, with friendly staff. The dinner was ok, we were delighted to have freshly baked bread after weeks of traveling away from Europe. Watch out for the bill,as in all places in Myanmar, you maybe scammed on the exchange rate with dollars; they refused to be paid in kayats.

The room is large and pleasantly decorated in local style. Beds were OK but the bathroom was rather basic, open shower next to the toilet, washbasin with some toiletries, not really for the spoiled. Dinner was decidely average but the Myanmar beer is always tasty. Breakfast choice was also rather limited, no espresso available. Staff has very limited knowledge of English but is very pleasant. The hotel is close to a main road into Pindaya where farmers drive their noisy tractors into and from town so better to chose a cabin away from the road. We stayed only one night because we wanted to visit the famous caves.
