Pictures do a good job of representing the hotel. Used as a stopover before and after trek. Rooms are large and comfortable, with nice bathrooms. I was there in the off-season so they were lightly staffed, but very conscientious and helpful. English not the strongest suit but certainly adequate. I spent 26 US for my room through booking.com. Right in the lake district stores, restaurants and the lake just a short walk. Good wifi. On the downside, I could not make the TV work, but I didn't come to Nepal to watch TV.

Hotel Tulsi is very conveniently located for dining and shopping in Pokhara, close to the lake and easy to find and also very affordable. Our room was spacious and clean. There are fantastic views of the lake from the rooftop restaurant where we had breakfast. This is an older hotel with a quality build, but there are no elevators, not a problem for us.

It is not worth of value. There was lack of manpower. No buffet breakfast; No elevator; No security; We had to ask for the hair dryer. The room was not properly cleaned. The receptionist did not understand whatever we said. It was a horrible experience overall.Highly not recommended.
