I visited this hotel to celebrate my sister's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day. We chose this hotel because we expected warmth, comfort, and the genuine hospitality that a place of this standard should provide. Unfortunately, the experience was the opposite. Although the property itself is beautiful, the overall atmosphere did not feel welcoming. There were numerous restrictions on where guests could go and take photos, even as paying customers. While I understand that hotels have policies, they should be communicated clearly and handled with kindness and professionalism. What made us especially uncomfortable was that several members of the hotel administration/staff gathered nearby while we were taking photos. Whether intentional or not, it made us feel watched, singled out, and uncomfortable during what was meant to be a joyful celebration. The customer service was disappointing and lacked the warmth and hospitality we expected from a hotel of this level. A hotel experience is not only about the location or appearance of the property, it is also about how guests are treated and how they feel while they are there. I have visited this hotel before, but after this experience, I will not be returning. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place to friends or family. A beautiful property cannot compensate for an experience where guests do not feel welcomed or valued.

Excellent food and great dining experience at Hotel Himalaya. The dishes were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, and the service was warm and attentive. Highly recommended!
