Hilton Curacao

The staff is very unfriendly; if you ask for something, it practically seems like a favor. The buffet closes very early at 9:30 PM, but by 9:00 PM they are already gathering everything, and the glassware and a large part of the menu run out. We had to set the table ourselves on several occasions. The themed restaurants leave much to be desired, and it is almost impossible to make a reservation since you can only reserve one per day, but if you go out early, it is closed, and when you return, there is no availability. The kiosk at the water park closes an hour earlier than the park. One of the slides is not working and has been like that for 10 days. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired; you can see plates and glasses in the hallways, and the cleaning of the room is very superficial. Two days without the toilet tank working and two days without cold water in the shower. We stayed at the resort from June 26-July 3rd so I am writing this while we are still here Check in- simple and pleasant. Booked an ocean view with 1 king and 2 singles. Stayed in building 1 on the 4th floor. Elevators a bit slow but bell hop was great and explained the room. Food- average! Buffet has options but becomes repetitive. The buffet is open and outdoors as all their restaurants so be warned there are many birds flying in and out flying onto tables and eating food left on plates. We ate at the Italian, Sushi and Fish- all were okay! Nothing great- can only pick certain options. Great smoothie and coffee bar. Bars are busy and staff is slow and not all are pleasant. We tipped our favs so went directly back to them. Pool- lots of chairs and beds- should get up and grab your preferred spots as it was busy. Pools are clean but worn down. Staff does come to clean dishes and glasses but slow Beach area- small area with small rocks but manageable. Water is clear and calm which was nice lots of photo ops on the beach area too. Rooms and housekeeping Rooms are plain and need more space for clothing and storage. Housekeeping was good came when we called for extra items. Maintenance staff- non existent. Our safe was not working to this date still no service. Our AC also stopped and my husband downloaded the manual and fixed it. We are still waiting for the hotel staff to come. In all the weather is great hot and sunny every day but this hotel is not run like a Hilton and needs some TLC.

nice hotel, good service nice toilets. bar staff is very sweet.
