Nh Sparrenhorst

We were accommodated at the hotel as part of a cycling tour. The reception was very friendly, and we quickly received our luggage and room keys. Upon arriving upstairs, we were very surprised that our friends' room was appealing and well-maintained. Whereas our room, which was only 2 doors away, was the complete opposite. The carpet in the entire room was covered with huge dark stains, really disgusting. The wallpaper above the bed was peeling off. An air conditioning unit would have been nice. In the swimming pool and sauna, there were no towels; one had to take them from the room, which meant that they were not dry again by the next morning. We would have liked to dine in the restaurant, but unfortunately, after a half-hour wait, we were told it was not possible; there were 100 guests but only 4 staff members. We probably will not return!

Hotel rooms are clean and spacious, but dated. The service in the restaurant is mediocre. Package booked, but got wrong info by mail and in the restaurant they don't know anything about. The food was good and the staff friendly. The location of the hotel is also nice.

Nice environment, clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast was plenty of choice and good . Pool and Sauna was also fine. We will definitely go back for a few days.
