BEST WESTERN PREMIER KASTEEL DE VANENBURG

Bad story: book by phone with clearly the price and date named as visible at booking (black friday). Could directly cheaper € 134 incl breakfast. Don't get confirmation at first, but when I call back but on a day later. So 3rd x call: was a mistake and costs €163. I wish I could call you back tomorrow if that employee or manager was there. Do not call yourself but 4th x and persists in more expensive price than agreed. See also printscreen TripAdvisor with price on 25 December and in the headline "breakfast included"

The grounds and staff are excellent. The parking laid out thoughtfully but some how the hotel missed the mark. I think the breakfast was the greatest let down. Very lacklustre and I would describe as basic. Food wise there are two onsite choices. The main restaurant or the brasserie. We ate at the restaurant which was good but top end prices. We would have tried the brasserie but the menu appears fairly limited and burger style So we had dinner in nearby Putten for 2 nights

What a wonderful experience. Nice room with a lovely bathtub. Everything poopy poopy. Coffee and tea in the room, beautiful surroundings. Nice bike ride and eaten in the brasserie. If you go here it's really a gift to yourself.
