BEST WESTERN HOTEL NOBIS ASTEN

Had a luxurious room, with air conditioning, bath and mini fridge / terrace (ground floor) Topper kept moving away from the bed, beds were breaking apart as a result. Breakfast was ordinary, croissants not freshly baked, were dry, scrambled eggs were not scrambled but sliced, orange juice was not fresh (was mix drink, way too sweet) many guests had problems operating the coffee machine.

I’ve never experienced anything this unprofessional in any hotel in my life. Very disappointing experience. The hotel charged the credit card I used only for guarantee without asking, and refused to void it when I wanted to pay with another card. Housekeeping entered the room at 9 AM without permission and said if we didn’t let them clean immediately, they wouldn’t come back. Cleaning was basically just emptying the bin and changing towels — no vacuuming, no bed made. The cleaning staff were rude and struggled with both English and Dutch. Front desk communication was just as bad. They often answered unrelated points, avoided the actual questions, and made it impossible to get clear information. I already reported this through Best Western’s official channel, but the hotel replied with a generic message that ignored everything. I’m sharing this so other international travelers know what really happens here. If the hotel plans to reply with another excuse or denial, please save it — I’ve already heard enough.

The quality +++ was on the appointment. The B.Westerns in France should follow their example.
