Amsterdam House Hotel Eureka

Stayed here for 5 nights and loved everything about it. The room had 2 massive windows with canal view where I spent most evenings.The hotel is central to all tourist areas for walking but quiet in the evening . The manager is very friendly and helpful as is his colleague. The hotel is quirky and is a traditional amsterdam residence and not everyone is understanding of this but there is many big name faceless hotels closer to the train station if that's your thing but we loved our quirky hotel

We stayed 5 nights as a couple. The location was great. It was right across the dancing condos. It was so close to public transportation. But there was no service and no hospitality. The first time we arrived at the hotel, we asked for a hotel sweater, but it wasn’t at the hotel. It was surprising. In this price band, we were unable to reach the most basic hotel service with a cost close to 0. We had to purchase ourselves from the outside, which was too hard to find. The first time we entered the room it was very dirty. All the lockers are dusty and trackable. The bathroom was muddy. The waste box in the bathroom was packed with bloody stamps, and the bathroom itself was a track. When we asked to clean it, “you were staying in a hotel with little cleanliness. The grid and exit are cleaned.” But when we said, “This is how it was when we walked in,” we said, “Let’s clean this time.” However, that cleaning was not done. 2 infant hotel shampoos were presented in the individual entry, 3. due to the calis size Gun ended. Requested only in entry. But then they left 2 in the room. There were also screams, laughter, and a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms until 4 to 5 a.m. No one could have done that, but I wanted to note. Rated 0 in hoteliery and service. But the warmth in the cold January was just fine with it all. The calories were very warm. We were never cold. If there were hospitality and service, I would love to come back.

I stayed at the Amsterdam House Hotel with my two rescue dogs from Thailand. Our room was cosy and clean with an amazing view of the canal. The owner was so kind to our dogs...they were nervous as they are rescues and he went put of his way to comfort them and show them kindness. Great, central location, close to all the main sites within walking distance. Breakfast was also very good, a nice selection of pastries, fruit, yoghurt and cereal. Thank you for a lovely stay!
