Apollo Hotel Almere City Centre

The hotel is not overly inviting from the outside due to bird crap showing all over the place due to its structural design. There is parking underneath the hotel at reasonable cost. Check inn staff were very friendly and the communal areas are in good condition with standard Leonardo reception ( snacks and drinks available). The bar and restaurant doesn’t open on a Monday but that’s fine as the main square is only a ten minute walk away so you can drink/eat there. Rooms are a good size, clean and with aircon. All in all it’s a typical budget hotel.

First of the good parts, location was great close to shops and food places. Staff were very helpful throughout the trip. The shower had good pressure. Bad parts, the hotel itself is very stuffy and hot. Our room didnt have a window that would open. The bed was the worst bed ever hence why me and my wife had to move hotels just to get some sleep. The AC on one of the nights smelt of a certain green substance.

We have been a guest on November 7, the location is fine and reception also neat... but we had room 420 there is indeed a bed ..but that is so bad that you can not really call it a bed. Comfort 0.0 it is like lying in a pit..Far too soft and totally no support. Certainly not worth repeating.
