Badhu

This experience is about the restaurant: had been a long time since I came here. The staff is still extremely friendly, but the menu and cuisine have changed enormously. And what an improvement that is. Hugely enjoyed the menu, with surprising flavors.

Last week I was booked in to the Badhu by conference organisers. I expected the usual good quality but rather boring 'motel' type accommodation, but the Badhu is a million miles from that! The 'Gastro Pub' on the ground floor is excellent; breakfast was superb, the menu choices and quality of evening food was undeniably good and the red wines available were interesting and strong quality. It sounds odd, but the stairs up to the first floor rooms were an unexpected pleasure, as was the 'industrial' but classy feel to the place. The rooms at the Badhu are colour-coded rather than numbered - great fun! The staff were fantastically helpful, extremely friendly and very professional The next time I head to Utrecht, the Badhu will be where I stay!

Nice and colourful rooms for a stay over in Utrecht. Unfortunately no time to check the food in the restaurant, but it looks promising. Upon arrival there was even a bowl with some candy for our dog. It’s within the details!
