Hotel V Nesplein

Fabulous hotel, very easy to get to walking from Central Station and very central for canals and restaurants and areas of interest. Staff were extremely welcoming, on hand 24 hours and were just fantastic. We asked for an iron and it was in our room within minutes, we wanted a canal trip and they found a great one and booked it for us very quickly, gave us advice and directions and were just generally fabulous. Thank you very much.Room was beautiful with the best fan I’ve ever used, gorgeous products, extremely clean and bed was amazingly comfy.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was mediocre, very quiet room, loved the decor and the location. Things I was not a fan of, the room was sweltering, the corridor outside of the room was cool, as we're the public spaces downstairs but not the room. A fan just moved warm air around the hot room. More hanging space should be available and somewhere for underwear to be stored. Also I feel liquid milk should be available rather than creamer.

I am extremely sorry to write this review. I booked three nights in June with a 48 hour cancellation window. My husband had an accident that resulted in a surgery therefore making it impossible for us to travel. I contacted the hotel via email to cancel even though it was 36 hours not 48. The hotel refused to honor my request for even a partial refund despite my request which was polite and respectful. I will never stay with any of the properties owned by this organization. Beware.
