Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel let us check in early, which was a nice surprise, and the front desk staff were outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. The gym was on the smaller side, but the wellness area with the sauna and steam room was excellent. The location is also a major plus, as it’s centrally located and made it easy to explore Amsterdam.
There were a few downsides, though. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work well, making it uncomfortable at times. The “double” bed was actually two beds pushed together with separate sheets, and the room only came with one pillow per person. Also, getting to our fifth-floor room was surprisingly inconvenient, requiring multiple elevators and quite a bit of walking.
Overall, it’s a well-located hotel with great staff and nice amenities, but a few room and layout issues kept it from being a great stay
