The room was fantastic. The bathroom especially bath area is too small. Someone over 90 or 100 kgs would have a difficult time taking a shower. Toilet is good. In the room they have kettle cups with tea coffee sugar and creamer sachets fantastic. They gave us the room 204 overlooking the Canal so it was super. The people at reception were super duper helpful and kind. Also when in Amsterdam do not I mean DO NOT MISS SEEING This is Holland 5D experience. Its amazing and super fantastic.

We stayed here for 3 nights in February. Location was good, about a 30/40 minute walk to Dam Square and close to tram stops. We were going to an event at Paradiso and this was only about a 15 minute walk away which was great. It is quite far from the airport, about an hours walk or 30 minutes in an Uber. The room was basic but fine for a short stay - there was quite a draught under the window which made the room cold and the radiator didn’t do much to help this. The pillows weren’t the best either and the room next door to ours were quite loud one night and we heard this very clearly in our room. On the first night our shower leaked quite badly but the following nights we didn’t put it on fully and the leaking stopped. All the staff were really really lovely and friendly - really helpful when we arrived very early on the day we checked in and let us store our bags before we checked in. We also stored our bags on our last day as check out was 11am and our flight wasn’t until late (even though this was cancelled in the end!) We also weren’t expecting housekeeping for such a short stay but this was a nice surprise. I would stay here again if we could get a good deal but I feel as though it was a bit overprice - but we did stay on Valentines weekend so this probably affected the prices.

Following the cancellation of flights in Amsterdam, we found this hotel after a long search, located 15 minutes by tram from the center , we were very pleasantly surprised by the welcome, the cleanliness, the size of the rooms (there were three of us) , if we return to Amsterdam we will surely return to this establishment , smaller and more family , more comfortable than the ibis Centraal
