The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Stayed here this past weekend and it was hideous. Steep stairs which is a nightmare with luggage as lift doesn't work with dingy dirty carpets. Tv in room but no remote, asked reception for a replacement and they gave us one for a different tv. Kettle but only two sachets of coffee, asked for more but never got any. One pillow each on an old rickety metal camplike bed that sunk in middle and squeeked loudly when you moved. Asked for extra pillows, they said they would bring them up, they never did. Only the first morning they replaced towels, I had to ask the cleaner for more when he was hoovering a bedroom directly next door before 9am. Fire alarm went off at 5am waking and evacuating entire hotel, this went off again the following morning at 8:30am. Woke up covered in bites everyday, and had some sort of mite on my arm whilst sat in bed. Left with backache and itchy bites all over. It's cheap and not in the slightest cheerful. Avoid.

Very bad hotel. Unhygienic, too small room, extremely creaky bed, mold in bathroom, too small sink where the water did not drain. Flies in the ceiling, rust rings in bathroom, super noisy. We're never coming here again!

Hello! Very good location, it fulfilled what was promised regarding the view of the canal (fantastic), the room could have been larger, like the photos, but the cleaning service and the breakfast, surprising for a small hotel in an old building, made up for it. The shower had no ledge, so everything got wet and for summer, not recommended since there is no air conditioning. For other seasons of the year, I recommend it. Thanks to the Front Desk staff, always friendly and willing to help and recommend.
