Sheraton Amsterdam Airport Hotel and Conference Center

We booked the Sheraton Amsterdam airport one night before a cruise that departed from Rotterdam. We are very glad that we did. Having been to Amsterdam before we didn't feel the need to see the city but knew if we had energy after our long flight to wander the city the trains were right there to easily allow us to do that. And we booked a cruise line transfer from the airport to the ship so it seemed like a no-brainer to stay near the airport. The Sheraton Amsterdam is not the typical airport hotel. First of all it's a very short walk indoors to the hotel. That was a plus, especially when the weather outside is scorching hot. And the hotel is lovely. Clean, modern, great service. We booked a room with access to the Executive Lounge and we availed ourselves of the wine, beer and appetizers during happy hour. A good buffet breakfast was also included. They have a restaurant but there are many food options available at the airport too, and lots of shops in case you've left something behind. We were very happy with our experience at the Sheraton Amsterdam and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location can't be beat, with the property being connected to the airport via an indoor walkway. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and modern, and the interior -facing rooms (facing the atrium of the hotel) have enough light. The food at the cafe downstairs is also really good.

Love this hotel. It is so convenient to the airport, just a short walk connected walkway. The rooms are really nice. It was clean and quiet. We did have access to the Lounge, which was also very nice. They had happy hour with drinks and snacks.
