The Lancaster Hotel Amsterdam

We stayed here for a week beginning July and we had a fantastic stay here. We had an unfortunate accident as my partner broke her elbow and we found that the staff were outstanding in their concern and arranging taxis for local hospital, particularly the 2 ladies on night shift. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We can't praise the staff and management enough. Thank you The Hotel is a boutique hotel which had a very ambient atmosphere and lovely decor. The room was small but comfortable with a large telly. We would definitely stay here again.

First room was in the basement as it was a “limited view” no view at all!!!!!! Asked to be moved. Choose a “comfort double” 4 th floor, view of a tree, tiny room and bathroom that you can hardly move in!!!! 4 star is definitely debatable on this. I am not happy at all!!!and Iv not even slept in the room yet. First time in Amsterdam and experience not great so far

It's difficult to find fault with this hotel. It looks recently refurbished and in a great spot, opposite the Zoo.
