Just what you need. Enough to use as a base whilst exploring the city. Just one bus ride in to the city centre. Like a premier inn. Christina was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

If you don't want to return home with bed bugs and various illnesses, absolutely do not book this hotel! They ruined our Amsterdam holiday. As if the problems we experienced before even arriving weren't enough, the hotel staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful. In particular, the employee we spoke to on the phone displayed an extremely harsh, unsupportive, and completely unhelpful attitude. All we wanted to do was try to cancel our hotel stay after seeing the insects in my reviews. Despite calmly explaining the situation to the officer, he consistently gave dismissive responses, offered no solutions, and spoke to us as if he were arguing. We have never encountered such rude customer service before. We definitely don't recommend it to anyone.

A weekend here with 2 teenagers. Checked in late & despite being very accommodating, chap on reception desk was a bit unsure about some of our queries. The self service check in meant we didn’t receive details about when/where breakfast would be served. Bedside light not working/no TV reception. Both of these had to wait until the next day. Worth noting that it’s square pillows on each bed. We requested more as we felt one per bed was not enough. We had a room on the ground floor. It was average, at best. Lots of stains/marks on the walls & the room had quite a strong odour of damp. It was also very cold on arrival. Only 3 hangers in the wardrobe between 4 of us. The damp smell subdued a little the next day. Perhaps because we put the air con on. Also worth noting the air con is noisy. Bathroom seemed more updated that the room. Great shower. 👍🏻 Breakfast in the hotel was lovely. A very friendly & welcoming atmosphere from staff. A great selection of items. Location is a little out of town but very easy to hop on a tram into city centre. Some nice little independent eateries nearby, and a Jumbo & Albert Hein too. Excellent market on the doorstep with lovely, fresh produce. Overall, a great stay. Let down a little by the condition of the room.
