Mercure Hotel Zwolle

I spent a weekend in this hotel. Staff at reception was extremely helpful and multilingual. I arrived late just after 21:00 when restaurant had already closed. However, staff at reception and the barman made sure that I received a wonderful dinner including dessert! Thank you very much! The next evening I was at the regular time in the restaurant: great food and service! There were also more than sufficient charging stations for electric cars available, which I happily used. The hotel is a bit outside of the city centre of Zwolle at a quiet and beautiful location: just what I needed. I used the opportunity to visit the beautiful nearby town Kampen and also Pantropica not to far away.

We wanted a nice weekend and to visit Zwolle. The hotel is not too far outside Zwolle. It was about 40 minutes to walk from the train station (we did not take the shortest way), which we enjoyed very much. The area around the hotel was really nice, so we took a walk after our arrival. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful to us and other guests. There was a nice restaurant where we enjoyed a very good dinner. The only downpoint during our stay was that there were several very load guest constantly slamming their room door. If coming back to Zwolle, for sure we will stay in this hotel again.

Easily accessible from the motorway, this hotel is very quiet. The room is ok; the bathroom is small. The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast has a buffet with a large choice. The breakfast room is design and surrounded by fields. I don't give 5 stars because the parking is not free.
