Best Western City Hotel Leiden

Stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday. Hotel is an old building. I’d say that whilst it has basic amenities, it has real character and was good to stay for one night. Great location for walking into Leiden. Breakfast was nice and the welcome from reception was friendly.

Perfect location for exploring Leiden. Staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful during our stay. Nice room and lovely breakfast. As recommended by the hotel staff, we used the Haagweg parking which was very easy with fast dropoff and pickups from the hotel. Would definitely recommend to others.

Due to COVID-19 I'd to cancel a reservation done for 17 people and I've been told that the deposit (€1,335.00) done in December 2019 is lost and can't be refunded. In the meantime, cancellation policy for USA, Canada and Carribean is as follow : "Guests with existing reservations for any future travel date may cancel with 24 hours' notice for a full refund" ???? So, If you have an hotel reservation to do in Leiden, I strongly recommend that you choose another hotel if you don't want to have to pay ... FOR NOTHING !!
