Hotel Van Oranje, Autograph Collection

This hotel is closed and half in construction for several years!! How can you still mention it in the list of your recommended hotels! This would be worth a famous update, don't you think? Your comments correspond well to what this hotel WAS 😁

An upscale hotel. However, little is offered for a lot of money. The Dutch Covid-19 rules are being implemented well, but I expect a little more in this price category.... In the sauna, which has to be reserved in advance, there is neither water nor enough sauna towels. If you ask the swimming pool staff they say there is only One thing... cushions on the cheap, white plastic loungers are unfortunately not standard either. The breakfast is very good, but the organization could be made a little more fluid. When we discovered on the day of arrival that bathrobes were not part of the standard equipment (Superior De Luxe Room), we registered our request at reception. We didn't hear anything more until we left... Other hotels also offer proximity to the beach... but they charge less money... The next time we visit Noordwijk we will book a different hotel because unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right here...

I assume that some of the tripadvisor statements are fake. On top all marketing material is photoshopped - Our experience: Hotel lobby and restaurant ok - but rooms completely outdated. Ugly and dirty carpets; old 80s or 90s interior; bathroom 3 star. On top the service is totally unfriendly and inflexible. We strongly recommend to choose a different hotel. Totally overpriced.
