Bastion Rotterdam Terbregseplein

The toilet lid was loose. The facilities are old and dirty, with high prices for the little comfort offered. The cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired and a strong smell of cigarette smoke prevails. The breakfast is far too basic. Nothing worth mentioning. The armchair in the room is covered in stains. It is so dirty that it makes you not want to sit in it. Next time, I will offer you a steam machine, which should cost around fifteen euros.

Great service, great staff and lovely hotel, everything was perfect

The stay was less expensive because it was from Sunday to Monday, instead of weekend... then I think it's a great price. The bathroom is good, toilet somewhat low, apparently because of the raised floor, I was not bothered. The room was not perfectly clean, a bit dusty here and there and I doubt if there was mopping. Beds, toilet, bathroom were good clean. Toilet holder came off the wall. The windows open for fresh air, and block out the sound of the road well when closed, and it's nice and dark inside with the curtains drawn. A large TV with Netflix is nice plus a coffee maker with coffee, nice. Convenient that there is a fridge and a safe. The beds were very comfortable. It is very noisy, the doors and the talking of other people you hear very well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking went behind a locked gate. I skipped breakfast because it was quite early (until 9am on Monday) and I preferred to sleep in, around the corner in the mall breakfast on.
