CAMPANILE - ROTTERDAM OOST

Please note this hotel is suddenly "temporarily closed" currently being emptied. I saw surprised guests at the door who couldn't get in because of the closure. Clearly something's not going right here.

To be honest I was doubting between 2 and 3 stars. From the moment you check in, till you check out, it is great. The menu, is a bit sober, but the quality is good. Rooms? A bit dated, but it is good, soft beds. Staff? amazing. The reason why I was doubting: the kids, who seem to live permanently on the premises seem to consider the hotel as a playground. Sometimes, till 23:00 they were still running around and sometimes noisy. Some people who are here, are here for their work and need to get up early again, like me,, at 05:45.

This hotel still breathes the atmosphere of the 70s/80s The room and certainly the bathroom need refurbishing, everything It's time to renew!
