Oure Tera Beach Resort

unique location in the world. Private beach facing the famous Kanumera rock. Serene and relaxed atmosphere. Very warm staff! Bungalows not up to the price of the night. Not soundproofed! We heard everything from the adjoining bungalow as if the people were in our room. The meals are good but the price is much too high.

Resort was OK, but they overcharged us by XPF60,000 (almost US$600) on checkout. The bill was correct when I checked out, but when I later saw my credit card account, I noticed I’d been charged more than double the amount presented on the final bill. I called the hotel and they immediately acknowledged their ‘mistake’ and asked for my bank account details to reimburse me. But they have not refunded the money and are now refusing to tell me when they will do so. This is highly unethical behaviour. Be very careful of this resort. I’ve travelled all over the world and have never experienced this before.
